“Success isn’t about what you accomplish in your life;
it’s about what you inspire others to do.”
~Unknown

Hello, it’s wonderful to meet you.
I’m Caryn (a.k.a. Calliope Design Inc.) and good news for you, I work as a visual brand consultant and artistic creator.
I have an entrepreneurial spirit and always looking for ways to make people lives better. One way is through my gifts as a creative person.
As the human being behind Calliope Design, I’ve always liked working for myself. No one-day is the same. And, I get to collaborate with great people.
Art and design are like a married couple. I enjoy collaborating with businesses to shape their identities as much as I relish creating art décor.
These days, I’m exploring new ways to adapt my creativity that inspires people and harmonize interior spaces of all kinds. It’s a little different than the mixed media mosaic art I’m known to create.
When I’m not working, I can be found taking a side step into nature, traveling, learning something new that’s useful, practicing yoga and spending time with friends and family — there’s never a dull moment.
My motto is to keep things simple for all involved, have fun, enjoy the process and be okay with when something doesn’t go as planned and just trust the process!
I feel blessed by all the experiences life and business continues to show me. We live in an abundant world!

How do you pronounce Calliope and what in the heck does it mean?
First, I shall address the pronunciation. Calliope sounds like
[kuh] + [ly] + [uh] + [pee].
Second, the name Calliope, translates to “beautiful-voiced”.
In Greek mythology, Calliope is the wisest and eldest of the Nine Muses. She resides over epic poetry and eloquence. Calliope was known as Homer’s muse being the inspiration for the poems, “Iliad” and “Odyssey”.

I have been practicing yoga for years. In 2015, I decided to take Level-One Kundalini Yoga teacher training. It was something I wanted to do to deepen my personal development journey and eventually teach but time always seemed to escaped me.
I came upon a yoga studio that solely taught Kundalini Yoga. Within a few months of taking classes on a regular basis, I enrolled in their Level-One Kundalini Yoga teacher training and decided to JUST DO IT!
I’m grateful for all of the opportunities that come my way and continue to grow!
